Carol Golden

Painting

and Assemblage

My painting process is daily. I choose my subjects and materials from a variety of sources: people engaged in life, joy and discovery; canvas, paper, panels, oil paint, charcoal and sssemblage. Concepts, compositions and color palette are always open to change, new insights mined from the work that preceeded them.

The imagination is powerful.  It creates its own self-validating truth, so strong it affects both inner and outer transformation.

I have spent nearly 40 years involved with putting imagination in an art format.  As an artist, student, teacher, and director in advertising creating TV commercials, I have a well-rounded approach in my present output.

When you visit my studio and view the paintings displayed, I hope that you will see beyond the impossible to the possible: A journey in your own imagination, a visual trip with humor and compassion.
